The galaxy was watching closely when Klingon Ambassador Kamarag addressed the Federation Council, where he promised a continuation of hostilities unless his demands for justice were met.
Four years have passed since then, and true to the ambassador’s word, the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire remain in a tense state of Cold War.
It has become the responsibility of Starfleet to defend Federation space from Klingon aggression and prevent the Klingon Empire from gaining more influence among non-aligned states.
In Sector 262, at the distant linear edge of the Organian Neutral Zone, the Klingons have made progress in courting independent powers, threatening the power balance and opening an avenue for invasion. Even worse, Starfleet Intelligence has picked up evidence of advanced weapons research and development taking place in the region.
In response to the growing Klingon threat, Starfleet Command had dispatched the Constitution (refit) class starship USS Ark Royal to Sector 262. Her mission: to wave the flag, to counter Klingon influence in the region, and investigate the Intelligence reports.

USS Ark Royal is a Play-By-Nova Star Trek role-playing game set in the Movies era, with a key focus on diplomacy, espionage, and war planning in a Cold War-era environment. We are currently serving in Theta Fleet. Our content rating is 222, or “+18”.

Greetings players, would-be players, and readers alike!
The USS Ark Royal NCC-1791 is coming together. The first two applications have been approved, and the discord hums with life.
Anyone interested in our late Cold War setting is welcome to submit an application. Please discuss any roles with me before submitting.
My aim is to have the first few introductory posts ongoing by the weekend and a handful more character biographies on the site.

One of the perks of being in geosynchronous orbit was that David had very little to do during his shift, and had extra time off. After his initial inspection of the planet with C'Hira, two days prior, he decided a more recreational inspection was due, and with an extra day off, he knew exactly what he wanted to see, and who he wanted to see it with.
