Last time on Star Trek: Ark Royal
"Boarding parties deployed," Regina Rothschild said from the MSS.
"Excellent," Phillip said, beaming at his wife. "Well done on that little package."
"Teach them not to just open a message from the enemy," she chuckled.
"Their shields are coming back up," Lieutenant Groon said from the tactical station. "Thirty seconds ahead of our estimates."
"Which is why we had the second wave be ready early," Rothschild said, sitting back. "Send out the new shuttles."
Groon sent the message and a moment later said, "shuttles away." Two shuttles emerged on each side of the ship, heading towards the Ark Royal, spreading out equally around the ship. A moment later, their phasers lanced out. The beams weren't nearly strong enough to do damage to the shields, but their erratic pattern and wide dispersal began causing feedback, overloading and blinding the Ark Royal's sensors, leaving the Stalwart able to move stealthily for its next attack.
And now the continuation...
[Ark Royal Bridge]
The alarms squealed. Intruders, boarding on the lower decks according to the readout from the tactical station.
“Boarding parties, multiple decks” Clay reported as he headed for the turbolifts anticipating the order, already charging his phaser.
“Go,” T’Kal told him. “I want them off my ship.” A lock of hair had come loose at her temple, an unnecessary reminder that she was losing her composure in a training match against a Miranda.
“Comms, inform sickbay of simulated casualties potentially coming in from decks ten and four,” she ordered. “And let the computer trick be a reminder that we should check attachments before opening them,” she added, chastising herself as much as the young Ensign.
[Deck 10]
The intruders had stunned three crewmen on the way to Engineering. More accurately, they fired at three crewmen and informed them they were stunned and should sit in place until the training exercise was over, years of training as children in the art of "I hit you! No you didn't!" coming to the fore. They arrived at the doors to Engineering and got into position before triggering the door sensor. As the doors opened, they fired quickly, rushing through the door under the cover of disruptor fire, striking two engineers. One of them headed for the warp core, the others began attempting to target the other engineers.
Karane, whom they had missed, turned away from the console she was working on. "Oi, numbskulls!" She shouted angrily at the intruders. "Are you totally thick or just downright idiotic?" She followed with. "Even on low training setting a phaser can easily damage the warp core. Then we'll be facing a breach and you'll kill not only yourselves but everyone on board! Are you actually that stupid?!" She asked angrily as she stomped over towards them. "How about you put those things down on the floor before you blow us all up?!"
The member of the team stopped his advance towards the core, looking back hesitantly. The two who had their weapon trained on Indra took her words to heart and put their weapons on the ground. They were supposed to act like Klingons, but those orders stopped when real damage was a risk.
"Good boys..." Karane said sweetly, her expression changing to a sweet, adorable innocent smile. She leaned in real close to them. "So, now that these are out of the picture..." she kicked the phasers away with her foot. "I don't accept your surrender, at least, not yet."
She didn't give them a chance to answer as an evil smirk spread across her face. Moving quickly she grabbed the first one by the hair of his fringe and pulled him down, slamming her forehead against his. That was swiftly followed by her knee ramming up into his gut to knock the wind out of him. She released his hair and swiftly delivered a kick with her boot to his shins causing him to topple down to the floor. Before pulling out a wrench and delivering it to the back of his head, hard enough to knock him out, but not hard enough to kill.
Despite putting up a defense, her next target also fell quickly as she swiftly introduced her boot to his crotch, then also pushed him down to the floor. A swift upper kick to his chin sent him backwards laid out cold on her floor.
Karane turned to the next intruder. "You're next sweetie." She said with an evil sparkle in her eyes. "You come into my house, you mess up MY systems, and you mess with MY engineers. Oh you've made mummy mad. Now it's time to put you in time out! " She took a single step forward and instead of running directly at him used the force of her step to launch her wrench at the intruder. It swirled elegantly in the air before meeting it's target. Right between the intruders eyes sending him tumbling backwards.
Once had had stumbled back and fallen onto his backside Karane approached looming over him, cracking her fists together. "You know, for Starfleet Officers who are pretending to be Klingons..." she said as she rose her fist high. "You're pretty shit at it!" She then swung at him driving home a punch to his face, a loud crack echoed around the room as he slowly fell to the floor.
She shook the splatters of blood from her hand and made her way to the nearest comm panel. "Engineering to bridge. I have three guests down here who wish to say sorry Captain...." there was a brief pause. "When they wake up of course. Oh and you might want to send someone with a med kit down here too..." The line cut off. Karane looked at the engineers still standing, most with mouths opened in shock.
"What? Too much?" She then let out a sigh. "Oh whatever get some of that ODN wire and tie them up in a corner. Preferably out of my way!"
The fourth intruder had managed to get behind a dividing wall and avoid the initial attack. He quickly accessed the ship's systems, interrupting the engine restart. He then began to lock up the computer in a series of diagnostic requests.
Suddenly Karane appeared behind him, the sweet innocent smile returning to her face. She placed a single hand on his shoulder. "What'cha doing?" She asked sweetly. "I don't think you should be touching that should you..." as before she didn't give him time to answer as she grabbed the man's ear, tugging him away from the console by it.
"Didn't you learn from the others to NOT TOUCH MY THINGS!" She ended up shouting. She released his ear and them with a single swing delivered a punch right to his face. She then reached for his phaser and held it to him. "Pew pew pew! And you're dead!" She said with a smile as she 'shot' him several times in the chest. "Now, go join the other naughty boys in the corner..." she cracked her knuckles together again. "Or do you want me to PUT you in the corner?"
"I'm going," the Stalwart engineer said, spitting a bit of blood and praying his teeth were intact. He rubbed his most-likely fractured jaw and walked tenderly towards the others, sitting down against the bulkhead.
[Deck 4]
The party heading for life support was briefly pinned down by two overzealous ensigns who were laying down suppression fire, but not able to advance. However, they found an opening and picked them off, advancing again, their destination in sight.
Clay took lead of several security officers, moving like a tight unit, checking corners and stunning any intruders that they came across. Not a large stun but enough to simulate them going down.
To be concluded...
